I’m thrilled to share that I’ve earned the Google Professional Workspace Administrator certification! This achievement results from my hard work. I dedicated myself to mastering the foundations of managing Google Workspace. I also focused on establishing best practices for organizations.
To earn this certification, I completed the Google Workspace Administration Specialization. This specialization is a series of courses designed to help administrators like myself. It helps us develop the skills needed to effectively manage and secure Google Workspace environments. The specialization consists of five courses, each covering a critical aspect of Google Workspace administration:
- Planning for a Google Workspace Deployment: This course provided a comprehensive overview of the planning process for deploying Google Workspace. It included setting up accounts, provisioning users, and configuring core services like Gmail, Calendar, and Drive & Docs.
- Managing Google Workspace: In this course, I learned how to manage users, groups, and resources in Google Workspace. I also learned how to configure email compliance. Additionally, I protected users from spam, spoofing, phishing, and malware attacks.
- Google Workspace Security: This course introduced me to Google’s security best practices. These practices are essential for protecting users, applications, and data in Google Workspace. I learned how to configure security settings, manage access control, and implement data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
- Google Workspace Mail Management: In this course, I learned how to configure email compliance and manage email routing. I also learned how to protect users from spam, spoofing, phishing, and malware attacks.
- Introduction to Google Workspace Administration: This course provided an overview of the Google Workspace administration console. It explained how to manage users, groups, and resources. It also covered how to configure core services like Gmail, Calendar, and Drive & Docs.
During the specialization, I gained hands-on experience with Google Workspace. I developed a deep understanding of managing and securing Google Workspace environments. I also learned about Google’s deployment methodology and how to apply best practices to real-world scenarios.
